Hello, my name is Kela Chanelle and I have been a licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician since 2017. At The Cabana, I specialize in relaxation massage therapy, muscle relief/tension massage therapy, Thai massage therapy, corrective skin care, and eyebrow waxing/tinting.

From a young age, I have had a strong passion for the beauty and wellness industry. I truly believe that self-care is essential to feeling your best. Whether it's taking a walk, maintaining a balanced diet, practicing yoga, or indulging in a vacation, self-care is crucial for finding peace amidst the chaos of daily life. In every service I provide, I aim to capture these elements and create a relaxing and rejuvenating experience for my clients.

I hold a master certification in Skin Script, specializing in products, facials, and corrective skin care. My experience at the Pinehurst Resort and Spa has provided me with valuable knowledge about luxury spa experiences and the importance of delivering high-quality services. I am a graduate of The AVEDA Institute and The Body Therapy Institute, both highly respected programs for massage therapy and esthetics in North Carolina. Through these programs, I have learned the fundamentals of body and skin care, the principles of whole-body healing and wellness, and how to tailor services to meet the unique needs of each guest.

TONYA POUNDS, FNP Owner of Magnolia Healthcare & Aesthetics Born and raised just outside Raleigh, North Carolina, Tonya earned her Undergraduate in Education at East Carolina University. Upon graduation, Tonya attended Wake Technical Community College, where she became a Registered Nurse and joined the Neurology/PACU team at UNC REX Hospital. While employed at REX, her passion for serving others through healthcare prompted her to earn her BSN and MSN, FNP-C from South University in Savannah, Georgia. From 2017 - 2022, Tonya was employed as a Nurse Practitioner in both Anesthesia at Wake Med and NiteLite Pediatric Urgent Care in the evenings. In 2021, Tonya earned her certification in aesthetics at the Laser Institute in Charlotte. In November of 2022, Tonya opened the doors to Magnolia Healthcare & Aesthetics, a privately owned medical and aesthetics facility serving all walks of life. When Tonya is not working, you can find her traveling, soaking up the salty air of the NC coast, working out, or spending time with her fur babies and/or nieces and nephews (all of whom she loves to spoil!).
